研究方向主要包括碳水化合物酶工程,代谢工程,生物质精炼技术,农作物副产物高值转化等。获中国,韩国,美国发明专利多项。主持国家自然科学基金面上项目,重庆市自然科学基金面上项目,瑞典瓦伦堡木材科学中心项目等多项。担任Frontiers in Chemistry客座编辑,Food ChemistryJournal of Agricultural and Food ChemistryCarbohydrate PolymersBiotechnology for Biofuels, Bioresource Technology等二十余种期刊的审稿人。
